Chequita Ernt is an Ink Illustrator and Mourning Beads enthusiast. She lives on the gloomy side of endless summer Singapore, where the thunder rain and croaking crows waltz together in silence.
She works primarily in ink and pencil, and a combination of both, with a touch of dark folklore romanticism and victorian ghost stories. Every artwork she illustrated had their own hidden story. Mostly based on hallucinations, peculiar dreams, and all those things that exist behind the veil of her mourning and sorrow.
